The Syrian Center for Tobacco Studies (SCTS) in partnership with Syrian Society against Cancer (SSAC) organized the first workshop with key national policy makers, and representative of health providers in Aleppo, titeled MedCHAMPS, MEDiterranean studies of Cardiovascular disease and Hyperglycaemia: Analytical Modelling of Population Socio-economic transitions. In Sheraton Hotel, Aleppo, Syria, on June 22, 2009.
